'tis the season

I know may people get anxious when Christmas music starts playing before Thanksgiving has even arrived, but this Holiday collection from butter LONDON is too sensational to put on hold. I for one have been listening to Sleigh Ride and drinking my peppermint mochas for a while now, so Holiday nails are hardly premature. So tonight when I adorn my dorm room with twinkle lights while shamelessly singing along to my Christmas favorites (my apologies to my neighbors) I will be rocking my favorite new Holiday polish, Jack the Lad!
This season's features 5 high impact glitter polishes that are sure to make a statement!

Fiddlesticks

This stunning magenta glitter is suspended in a raspberry base and just screams for attention. It is a full coverage polish, so just a coat or two will do. One of my favorite things about butter LONDON's glitters is that they are very dense. Unlike the Ciaté and O.P.I glitters I have tried, the glitter density in butter polishes is enough that it can be used as a lighter topcoat, or with a second coat transform into a very full coverage glitter. Pair this gorgeous polish with a LBD and hit those holiday parties in style!

Scuppered

I have a very interesting relationship with this particular color. If you read my blog, you know I have major love for butter's West End Wonderland--a stunning gold glitter. So, when I saw butter introduced a new gold polish for the holidays, I was a little skeptical at first. This gold is so different though from West End Wonderland that I have actually grown quite fond of it. This color is a more coppery gold polish with pink, gold and green glitter in it. The most unique thing about this shade is the bright green glitter for sure. It stands out in a very bold way when wearing it. Personally, as a huge Smallville/Superman fan, I though it looked very similar to kryptonite...something that probably made me like the polish even more. It does go on quite well and definitely make for a more unique holiday look!

Jack the Lad

Here we go...my absolute favorite polish from this quintet! This deep mossy evergreen shade is exactly the color picture when I think of the holidays! Reminiscent of butter LONDON's British Racing Green, this shade is a very rich green, however the gold, turquoise and green microglitter in the polish gives it a definite WOW factor! This shade makes me long for Christmas break and sleeping under our tree with my sister on Christmas Eve Eve--the scent of pine needles and the colors of lights luring me to sleep.

Fairy Cake

If you want a girly, glittery, multicolor polish...this is just the ticket! Fairy Cake is a stunning opaque, high density iridescent glitter. For my American friends who don't know, a fairy cake is the equivalent of a cupcake, so the multi colored glitters should remind you of a delicious sprinkle-topped cupcake! As I said before this is a dense polish so one or two coats does provide quite full coverage. A fabulous holiday stunner, or a fun, high impact topcoat...either way this polish is sure to draw attention this holiday season!

Scallywag

It's hard not to love this bold holiday polish. Scallywag may catch you slightly off guard, breaking away from the stereotypical holiday reds, golds, silvers and greens, but this bright blue polish is totally worthy! Once again, a high density, full coverage glitter, Scallywag is all bright turquoise blue glitter suspended in a clear base. Probably my second favorite of the bunch I love the statement this color makes. If all glitter is too bold a look for you, try painting your nails a solid color and using Scallywag on your accent finger!

What do you think of these holiday beauties?
