Pop quiz: What is the state butterfly of Michigan? Answer: I honestly don't know, but apparently my fourth grade teacher lied to me when she said it was a monarch butterfly. Until I went write this post, and being the brilliant blogger I am went to double check my facts on wikipedia (let's be real, it has the answers to everything), I was under the assumption that the monarch butterfly was the state insect of Michigan--it's actually Minnesota. Anyway, I loath butterflies, but I though I would show my state pride and do some monarch inspired nails. They actually turned out pretty good wouldn't you say?
