I came across the Color Club Covered in Diamonds top coat ages ago, and knew I had to have it. The polish is made up of mylar glitter pieces of different colors, and over black polish gives what I thought of as a stained glass effect. I applied one coat of Covered in Diamonds overtop Urban Outfitters' Eyes Wide Shut, and then finished it off with Seche Vite top coat. I love the way the different colored pieces of glitter stand out and catch the light when on the black base coat, but thats about it. I tested the color out on clean nails, and a few different shades of polish and none of them really had the same effect. Personally I probably won't use it on anything other than black, but I still think it is worth it for the unique effect.
