I have this unfortunate tendency to start painting my nails right before I have to go somewhere and thus end up ruining them in a matter of minutes. Anyway this was one of those times. I had to run out to dinner and of course messed them up when I put my coat on. I was somewhat smart though and snapped a pic before I left, so just ignore the fact that my nails aren't all cleaned up. So.....these nails were inspired by porcelain patterns, particularly chinese styled ones. I did the design freehand with Essie's Mesmerize overtop 6 coats of Sally Hansen's Complete Salon Manicure Polar Bare (Polar Bare is what the name is--rather bare, so to get a solid white base it took 6 coats).
