better than chocolate

 

Since holiday ads are already appearing on TV, and Starbucks has officially brought out the red cups I thought it was only fair that I gift myself with an early Christmas present. This Ciaté Mini Mani Month set is basically an advent calendar with a nail polish behind every door--way better than chocolate! While I love the textured sets Ciaté has come out with, I hadn't really given their plain varnishes a shot. Sephoracarries this this set of 24 polishes (17 minis of Ciaté's best selling shades, 3 shades exclusive to this set, and 4 caviar blends) for only $58, which is a pretty fantastic deal since that price would normally get you only 4 regular sized polishes.

Not one to be patient and go day by day with my advent calendar, I opened it at once and tried out each shade.

#3 Halo: Iridescent pearl color with shimmers of pink and purple. Looks beautiful overtop solid tones.
