For those of you who don't speak French (myself included--i used google translate), audacieux means bold. Clever ay, bold french--which is what my nails are, a bold take on a french manicure. If you aren't distracted by the lack of cleanup I did around the nails (per usual i was in a bit of a hurry to get out the door), it's not too bad.
As you can see, this design, as simple as it was, required a lot of polish. I used a majority of Butter London polishes for this as you can see in the picture to the left. Top to bottom goes from thumb to pinky: Butter London's British Racing Green, Delia's Twinkle Polish, Butter's Royal Navy, Slapper, Pink Ribbon, Cream Tea, Primrose Hill Picnic, Come to Bed Red, Urban Outfitter's Admission, and Butter London's Marrow. I finished the look off with Butter London's top coat for a glossy sheen. For the right hand, I mixed it up by switching the colors I used for the base and tip of the left hand design.
